    2. I understand for some people this story may seem repetitive and boring, but I loved this book not only because i have a son that suffers from short term memory loss (although not to that degree and he is not medicated for it) but because I feel like it has something for all of us. One of Floras rules was “live in the moment whenever you can. You don’t need a memory for that”. That felt like just good advice to me. We are all better than we think we are and definitely more capable. I loved [...]

    3. Reading this book was a mixed experience. In the beginning, I did not buy the premise, but I read up a bit on anterograde amnesia and the details of Flora's case seem accurate scientifically. I enjoyed the middle sequence set in Svalbard (the Norwegian Arctic) very much even though it wasn't terribly believable. Flora's quest had me hooked and the writing is vivid and moving. In the third part, I felt the story fell apart. The very dramatic events from the past and present of Flora's mother and [...]

    4. I had no idea what this book was all about - I have to admit that reading it at times and being within the thought processes of Flora made me feel uncomfortable and almost anxious. As I read through it I couldn't imagine what the ending could be - but I loved the book. Very different - yet it made you care about Flora and about her brother. Highly recommend but be aware that it is a unique experience, and worth it in the end.

    5. The One Memory of Flora Banks is a wonderful book. Although I felt it a little confusing at times, the ending is simply amazing! The plot twists are strategically placed and clearly thought through. It is a "heavy" book, in the sense that it requires active reading but I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good read.

    6. Much better than I expected. Very interesting character. Nonpredictable plotline. The ending was very satisfactory, but I stoll wish it were longer!
